Included in your yoga trip

Running a yoga retreat in the Sahara is very different from staying in a fixed camp. Our journeys follow old nomadic routes, moving each day with a camel caravan and sleeping in wild, open landscapes. It’s simple, quiet and spacious – the kind of setting where your group can slow down and focus without distraction.

Each night is spent in a mobile camp set up by the nomadic team, with meals cooked over the fire and evenings under a sky full of stars. There are no permanent facilities, no toilets and no showers – just the open desert and the steady rhythm of travelling with people who know it like the back of their hand.

We handle everything from airport pick‑up to airport drop-off, including overnight hotel stays, transport, food, equipment, camels, camp setup and safety. You can concentrate fully on teaching while we take care of the logistics. Whether you’re an independent instructor or a yoga company planning a new retreat, we shape the journey around your style and the needs of your group.

FAQ

How much yoga can we realistically do each day?

Most groups choose one or two sessions a day, depending on the teacher’s style and the rhythm of the trek. Sunrise and sunset practices work perfectly, with optional meditation or workshops during the long midday pause.

Do you provide mats and yoga equipment?

We ask groups to bring their own mats. Blocks and straps are optional and up to the teacher. We provide all camping equipment, cooking gear and logistics.

What level of fitness do students need?

The walking is gentle and steady, usually 2–4 hours a day with long breaks. Most people with a basic level of fitness can join. The focus is on slowing down, not pushing hard.

What facilities are there in the desert?

These are true nomadic treks: no permanent toilets, no showers, no fixed camps. We travel with a mobile camp set up each night by the nomadic team, with meals cooked over the fire and plenty of comfort, but no built structures.

How does pricing work for teachers, and can I add my own margin?

We give you a clear per‑person wholesale price based on group size and where you're starting from. You’re free to add your own teaching fee or margin on top. Most instructors build this into their final retreat price. We don’t take commission from your teaching income.
